About Malpua Recipe :-
Malpua is an traditional Indian sweet, popular in the state of Odisha. It is prepared during the festival of Poush Sankranti in Bengal. It is also the morning food which is served to lord Jagannath in his temple. A pancake like delicacy that is prepared during many other festivals in Indian homes. Easy and quick, Malpua has simple ingredients, full of flavour.

Ingredients
Khoya – 1kg
Refined flour – 250gm
Corn flour – 50 gm
Cardamom powder – 10 gm
Chopped pista – 50 gm
Saffron – 1gm
Water – 1 litre
Fennel seed – 50 gm
For sugar syrup:
water – 1 litre
Sugar -2.5 kg
Saffron – 1 gm
Method
. Grate khoya, boil the water and mix it into boil water, mix all the ingredients and make a smooth mixture.
Put oil in a pan on medium flame for frying. Pour some mixture into the heated oil.
Flip the mallpua, take it out when it becomes little stiff and golden brown in colour
Drop this straight into the sugar syrup.
Note :-
The oil should not be very hot.
